CultureSource CultureSource is a member association for non-profit arts and cultural organizations in Southeast Michigan serving Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston, Monroe and St. Clair counties. As a regional service organization, we do this work through hosting professional development workshops that grow creative and leadership capacities, presenting programs that provide space for exchanging ideas about arts and culture, and leading initiatives that bring together stakeholders interested in the public accessing creative expression. Our MISSION is to advance and cultivate creative and cultural expression in Southeast Michigan. Make/Shift Pitch Haus Competition Our Goal Michigan’s creative class is one of our greatest assets. The Make/Shift Pitch Haus is about celebrating our creative energy —spotlighting the artists, makers, and entrepreneurs whose work defines our state’s cultural identity and attracts new people to call Michigan home. Through the competition element, Pitch Haus will invest in creators from different corners of our state, while highlighting the importance of talent retention and community growth to Michigan’s economic future. Pitch Haus serves as a catalyst for additional impact in support of critical creative industries as well as important population growth efforts statewide. Pitch Haus is a fully tricked out shipping container that serves as your blank canvas for a multi-functional art activation. How you choose to active the Haus is limited only by your imagination. Fashion shows, art gallery, podcast studio, dinner party, DJ booth, performance space, classroom? It’s your Haus. Four $25,000 grants will be awarded to host and activate the Make/Shift Pitch Haus across Michigan.Eligibility
