Background The Luling Foundation was created by charter as an institution of charity and free public learning. It is governed by a seven member Board of Trustees. Caldwell, Gonzales, and Guadalupe Counties are each represented by two trustees, while the seventh trustee is at large. The Commissioner’s Court of each respective county elects the Board of Trustees. The Foundation strives to educate visitors through tours, hands on learning, workshops, and field days. The goal continues to be the advancement of agriculture regionally and worldwide. Healthcare Scholarship Grant This scholarship is in the amount of $2,000 to be dispersed over the Fall and Spring semesters of the student’s freshman year. It is not renewable. It will be rewarded to a student pursuing a healthcare (human health) related degree.

Eligibility
