Create Healthy Adult Learner Scholarship

Create Healthy supports working adults who want to change careers or advance in their existing healthcare careers, and applications can be completed and submitted at any time. Applicants must be enrolled in courses in the healthcare field; be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; be a resident of or employed by an organization in Gillespie County, Blanco County, Llano County, Mason County, or the town of Comfort, Texas; be enrolling in a degree or certificate program; and be a working professional returning to school, a GED recipient, a career-changer, or a student with a unique educational journey. Preference is given to those with proven financial need, and applicants and recipients are eligible to reapply.

Applications can be completed and submitted at any time through the Adult Learner Scholarships page. Submit a completed application; a short answer explaining how the scholarship will help the applicant's aspirations in the healthcare field; a transcript or proof of enrollment/acceptance; two letters of recommendation (one from a current employer and one from a current colleague); and proof of financial need (FAFSA Student Aid Report, recent tax return, or a brief written explanation).
