Since the original investment of $250K, the Foundation has grown to over 200 Funds and over $21M in assets! Area non-profits, schools, local governing entities, and students have benefited by receiving over $14M in grants and scholarships!

Louise and J.M Frey Family Scholarship

Louise and J.M. Frey established this Family scholarship in 2003. The Frey’s were dedicated educators at Abilene High School for 37 years, and they understand the value of education. This scholarship is for nontraditional students who may be changing careers as well as graduating high school seniors. Louise and J.M. Frey’s legacy is to teach others to care for humankind. Both are role models in the community and are active volunteers supporting organizations throughout Dickinson County.

This scholarship provides financial assistance to individuals with good character who are planning on career development activities such as technical college, apprentice training, or participation in an on-the-job training program.
