Johnson Community Organization Scholarship - $700

Scholarship Overview: Years ago, dating back before the 1940’s, the farming families of Willowdale Township decided to gather together for dinner once a month, and even celebrated with holiday dinners for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other holidays.

• Scholarship Requirements:
  • Applicant must be a graduating senior or graduate of Abilene High School, Chapman High School, Hope High School, or Solomon High School.
  • The applicant should be involved in activities such as FFA and 4-H. German Club, etc.
  • Applicant must have earned at least a cumulative 3.5 GPA if applying to a 4-year college and a 2.5 GPA if applying to a Technical School or Junior College.
  • Statement/essay of at least 200 words describing your future goals and why you would like to advance your education.
  • The following should be uploaded to complete the application:
  • Two letters of recommendation: One from a teacher and one from a non-relative community member.
  • Current resume
