Mission

The LMC Legacy Foundation is devoted to funding the original LMC vision and mission of Philhaven Behavioral Healthcare: finding a better way to improve mental wellness through the healing ministry of Christ.

Funding Intent

The foundation intends to fund services that meet innovative and outcome-based requirements. They do not fund charity care or standard services in the field.

Geographic Scope

Primarily serves Southeast Pennsylvania communities

Grant Requirements

Proposals must meet ALL of the following criteria:
• Proposal does not duplicate existing services
• Faith-Based approach
• Improves Mental Health
• Innovative in nature
• Measurable outcomes
• Sustainable programming
• 501(c)(3) status (tax-exempt nonprofit)
• Primarily serves Southeast PA communities

Grant Cycle Schedule

The foundation operates on a twice-yearly (semi-annual) grant cycle:

#### Cycle 1 (Spring)

Letter of Intent (LOI) Deadline: January 15

Board decision (denial or invitation): February 15

Full Application Deadline: April 1

Board decision & funding notification: April 15

#### Cycle 2 (Fall)

Letter of Intent (LOI) Deadline: July 15

Board decision (denial or invitation): August 15

Full Application Deadline: October 1

Board decision & funding notification: October 15
