Specialized Psychotherapies Grant
Overview: Grants to provide evidence-based trauma treatment for ski patrollers, bike patrollers, and heli guides who are regularly exposed to potentially traumatic incidents and may develop significant stress injuries, substance use disorders, and/or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Status: Active, rolling basis
Geographic Scope: Any Ikon Pass resort in the U.S. and Canada, including: Alta Ski Area, Alyeska Resort, Arapahoe Basin, Aspen Snowmass, Big Bear Mountain Resort, Big Sky Resort, Blue Mountain (Ont.), Blue Mountain Resort (PA), Boyne Mountain, Brighton, Camelback Resort, CMH Heli Skiing & Summer Adventures, Copper Mountain, Crystal Mountain, Cypress Mountain, Deer Valley Resort, Eldora Mountain Resort, The Highlands, Killington-Pico, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, June Mountain, Loon Mountain, Mammoth Mountain, Mt. Bachelor, Palisades Tahoe, Panorama, Red Mountain, Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Schweitzer, SkiBig3, Snowbasin, Snowbird, Snowshoe, Snow Valley, Solitude Mountain Resort, Steamboat, Stratton, Sugarbush, Sugarloaf, The Summit at Snoqualmie, Sunday River, Sun Peaks Resort, Sun Valley, Taos, Tremblant, Windham Mountain Club, Winter Park
Purpose: To provide up to $1,000 per patroller or heli guide to pay for evidence-based trauma treatment that Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) do not provide.

Provider Options: Applicants may work with their own provider or seek assistance from AMCCF to find a local or virtual provider

- Provider Support: AMCCF can assist in locating local or virtual evidence-based trauma treatment providers if needed
- Award Limit: Up to $1,000 per patroller or heli guide
