Live United Scholarship

Funder: United Way of Franklin County (IN, US)

Purpose: Recognize individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to serving Franklin County by making a positive impact in the community through community service.

Geographic Scope: Franklin County, Indiana

Eligibility:

  • Current high school seniors or GED graduates

  • Current post-secondary students of any age

  • Must be a resident of Franklin County

  • Family and household members of United Way of Franklin County staff, Board of Directors, and Scholarship Selection Committee are not eligible

    • Award Basis:

  • Based on applicant's demonstrated commitment to community service

  • Based on the extent to which the applicant has impacted their own community through leadership or service

  • Not a need-based scholarship

  • Not based on academic achievement

    • Selection Committee: Consists of a diversified group of community members and United Way of Franklin County representatives
