LHGM Westside Community Grant

The LHGM Westside Community Grant, established by the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation, supports 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving the west side of Salt Lake City. With grants ranging from $10,000 to $25,000, this program aims to enhance community services in health, education, food security, and cultural enrichment. Organizations must be registered nonprofits with a focus on these areas, ensuring impactful contributions to local communities.

The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation is dedicated to enriching lives and communities by partnering with 501(c)(3) nonprofits that provide services and equitable access in the following areas:

• Health and MedicineShelter and Food SecurityEducation and Skill DevelopmentJobs and Economic Self-relianceCultural and Spiritual Enrichment
• Westside Community Grants

A small grants program for organizations that provide programs/services to individuals on the west side of Salt Lake City, with an average grant size of $10,000 to $25,000. Applications are reviewed monthly.

Eligibility

Organizations must:
Currently be designated and registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.Have a request that falls within one of the five programmatic areas listed above.

Ineligibility

The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation does not provide grants to:

• Individuals seeking personal financial aid.Political, labor or fraternal organizations.Charitable organizations established outside of the U.S.
• The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation does not accept unsolicited requests for:

National fundraising organizations that do not have demonstrated impact in Utah.Organizations whose programs and impact are focused outside of Utah.Cities, counties and other municipalities.Medical research.General endowments.Individual public schools or PTA/PTO groups that do not come through school district foundation offices.Recreational, amateur or competitive athletic teams.Colleges/universities that do not come through development/advancement offices.
