Scholarships Grand Haven Area Community Foundation scholarships are awarded competitively based on criteria set by donors. Once your application is submitted, you will be eligible for all those for which you meet the requirement. Leo Zupin Memorial Scholarship Fund Leo Zupin was a member of the Tri-Cities community for over 40 years. As educators, he and his wife, Marian, had touched the lives of countless youth. This fund was established as a memorial to Leo Zupin who passed unexpectedly in 2006. He was a math teacher and dean of students in the Grand Haven School District and served as chief negotiator for the Grand Haven Education Association. This scholarship is a tribute to his legacy and in recognition of his lifelong dedication to educating the youth of this community.
