Summary

Overview

Education The Leathersellers’ Company has been supporting education at all levels since the 17th century. As well as offering grants for university students and directly funding a number of universities, we are involved with the running of secondary and primary schools in south London. The Leathersellers’ Company Charitable Fund aims to support students in real financial need which may be preventing their excellence and talent from shining through. We support students who want to contribute to society in a positive way, whose energy and commitment ensures they will study hard for the career they want. Student Grants The 2025-26 Leathersellers’ Undergraduate Student Grants Programme aims to support undergraduate students who are care experienced, and/or are students of the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools or Colfe’s School, whose circumstances may otherwise prevent them from achieving their goals. These grants aim to improve social mobility, relieve financial need where other support is not available and enable students to have a positive impact on society in the future. Educational and Personal Development Opportunities You may still receive funding from the Undergraduate Student Grants Programme during a year in which you decide to undertake (as part of your degree): an academic “year abroad” scheme a year in industry an intercalated year (for Medical, Veterinary Science and Dental students)
