How to Apply

Large Impact Grant Application Process

Step 1: Prepare Required Documents

  • IRS nonprofit determination letter (for all organizations if collaboration)
  • Current year operating budget (for all organizations if collaboration)
  • Year to date balance sheet (for all organizations if collaboration)

Step 2: Create Intent to Apply Video

  • Length: 3-5 minutes (videos longer than 5 minutes may not be accepted)
  • File size: Maximum 1 GB
  • Format: Can be shot on phone or computer; uploaded directly

Step 3: Video Content Requirements
Include the following information in your video:

  1. Organization name(s)
    • Note: For Large Impact Grants, partnerships between organizations are encouraged; identify all partnerships
    • Representatives from each organization are encouraged to participate, though not mandatory
  2. Amount of grant funds requested; include other funding sources if applicable
  3. Program name
  4. Program purpose
  5. Community need addressed by the program
  6. Program outcomes
  7. Target audience for the program
  8. Number of people the program will serve
  9. Is this a new program? Expansion of current program?
  10. How long will the program or project last?
  11. How will the program be sustainable?
  12. Tell a compelling story creatively (may include onsite video or interviews with participant permission)

Step 4: Submit Application

  • Contact OCCF office at (812) 829-1725 with your Gmail address
  • OCCF will email you links to submission forms
  • Google account required (free signup available)
  • Forms should be completed on computer
  • Two submission forms:
    1. Organizational Information & Document Upload
    2. Intent to Apply Video Upload

Technical Requirements:

  • Google account (Gmail or free signup)
  • Can upload video via phone or computer
