Kelsey "Kelso" Shea Memorial Scholarship Grant

The Kelsey "Kelso" Shea Memorial Scholarship, established by the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation, honors a courageous 2022 graduate who battled cancer. This scholarship is for graduating seniors from Allegany-Limestone Central School pursuing degrees in Arts and Digital Media fields. Eligible students may apply to attend either a 2- or 4-year college, with preference given to those attending the JCC Jamestown Campus. The foundation has supported education and community development for 25 years.

This scholarship, in memory of Kelsey "Kelso" Shea, a 2022 Allegany-Limestone Central School graduate who fought a courageous battle with esophageal cancer, is for graduating seniors of ALCS, attending either a 2- or 4-year college and planning to pursue a degree in Arts and Digital Media-related studies (such as Arts, Studio Arts, Digital Media, Digital Audio Production and Multimedia Production, photography, etc.). First preference will be for a student planning to attend the JCC Jamestown Campus.

Eligibility

Graduating seniors of ALCS, attending either a 2- or 4-year college and planning to pursue a degree in Arts and Digital Media-related studies (such as Arts, Studio Arts, Digital Media, Digital Audio Production and Multimedia Production, photography, etc.).Choose your references wisely. Scholarship reviewers rely on your recommendation letters to learn how others perceive you. Ask for recommendations from people who know you well enough to write a letter that helps you stand out.
