Wagner Family Fund Grant

The Wagner Family Fund supports libraries in Cattaraugus and Allegany counties, providing grants between $100 and $2,000 for educational programming and activities for youth and adults. Eligible applicants include tax-exempt organizations and governmental units, with a focus on community service. The fund prioritizes projects that build organizational capacity and address community needs, while generally excluding for-profit organizations and those with discriminatory practices.

Eligibility

CRCF will make grants to charitable organizations that are tax-exempt under IRS Code Section 501(c)(3), governmental units, school districts and universities. Grants to religious institutions may be considered, however, the program must serve a community need (e.g. food program for the needy).

Ineligibility

CRCF generally does not provide grants to or for:Individuals (except for scholarships awarded to the student’s account at a college or post-secondary institution). However, the Foundation will consider grants for individuals who are part of a certain charitable class for a particular purpose such as disaster relief, homeless, etc.
