The Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation The Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation has been the region's supportive, responsive and trusted Community Foundation for more than 25 years. Established in 1994, the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation is a public 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that is growing good by connecting donors to the causes they care about most in our region. Grants from the foundation support many areas including education, scholarships, health care, the arts, community development, human service and youth development. CRCF has a 20-member board of directors and primarily serves Cattaraugus County, but also has funds established with donors in Pennsylvania and other New York counties. The Community Foundation currently manages some 300 funds and scholarships, totaling over $30 million in assets. Field of Interest Funds Grant Seekers The Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation currently manages more than $23 million in assets for more than 170 different funds, including endowed, non-endowed, scholarship and agency funds. Since its inception in 1994 the Foundation has helped to distribute more than $5.6 million in grants and scholarships. We also encourage responsive grantmaking from our funds to provide needed support to essential community causes.
