KCCF: KREMC Operation Round Up Fund Grant

The KCCF: KREMC Operation Round Up Fund Grant supports local charitable initiatives by encouraging members to round up their electric bills, with funds directed to various community causes. Eligible organizations must serve residents in the Kosciusko REMC area, including Kosciusko, Whitley, Wabash, and Fulton Counties, and hold a charitable designation. The grant favors projects that benefit low-income individuals, promote youth development, and support mental health initiatives, while avoiding support for routine operations or political activities.

Kosciusko REMC encourages its members to “round up” their electric bills to the nearest whole dollar. The extra cents are deposited into the Kosciusko REMC Operation Round Up Fund, which supports a variety of charitable causes in communities served by Kosciusko REMC.

Operation Round-Up places low priority on the following:Assets that are used for routine operations (as opposed to the implementation of a program), such as office equipment/furniture, computers/technology, software, etc.Contributions to a capital fund campaignExpenses incurred prior to grant approvalOperation Round-Up will not consider grants for:IndividualsPolitical activities or those designated to influence legislationReligious organizations for the sole purpose of furthering that religionUtility bills
