Overview

Kauai Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

Purpose: Support the pursuit of higher education for qualifying students from Kauai.

Geographic Scope: County of Kauai, Hawaii

Focus Areas: Business or business-related fields

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Permanent resident of the County of Kauai

  • Graduating high school senior

  • Acceptance as a full-time student majoring in Business or a business-related field

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher

  • Enrollment at an accredited college or university

    • Selection Criteria:

  • Personal essay demonstrating merit

  • Letters of recommendation

  • Extra-curricular activities, community service, honors, and/or paid work experience

  • Official high school transcript

  • Verification of college acceptance and intended enrollment

    Required Materials:
    1. Personal essay: "Why do you deserve this scholarship?" (500-word limit)
    2. Summary of achievements, honors, volunteer/community service activities, extra-curricular activities, and paid jobs (500-word limit)
    3. Two letters of recommendation
    4. Official high school transcript
    5. Verification of college acceptance and intended enrollment

    Application Requirements:

  • All materials must be submitted via the online application form

  • Only completed applications will be considered

  • Applicants will be notified of the committee's decision by June 3, 2026
