* HCF Criteria:
* Resident of the State of Hawaii
* Demonstrate financial need
* Be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
* Donor Criteria:
* Attend an accredited four-year, not-for-profit institution in Hawaii or in the continental U.S.
* In a separate essay, describe how your community activities exemplify the meaning of kahiau (translated as giving generously from the heart with no expectation of return).
* Maximum 250 words.
