Kūkulu Partner Program

Geographic Scope: Hawaiian Home Lands statewide

Purpose: Contractor and restoration company network to support home assessments and repair/rehabilitation work for Hawaiian Home Lands lessees

Overview: Reflects a coordinated, community-driven approach to housing on Hawaiian Home Lands. Partners with trusted network of professionals to support families through building and rebuilding process while expanding access to long-term, affordable homeownership.

Types of Partners Sought:

  • General contractors

  • Restoration companies

  • Construction professionals
  • Services Provided by Partners:

  • Home assessments

  • Repair and rehabilitation work

  • Support for families in Kānaka Anti-Displacement Fund and other recovery programs
  • Background: Particularly important for supporting families recovering from 2023 Lahaina fires and March 2026 Kona storms. Partners work directly with HCL to serve Hawaiian Home Lands lessees.
