Mission The Jewish Women’s Foundation of New Jersey (JWF-NJ) is a collaborative philanthropy inspired by Jewish values. Members are dedicated to empowering women and girls in New Jersey through education, advocacy, and strategic grant making. Jewish Women's Foundation of New Jersey is an advisory council fund of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ. Spring Grant Cycle For large grants, maximum request: $25,000 JWF-NJ accepts Letters of Intent (LOIs) from 501 (C)(3) organizations to support New Jersey-based projects consistent with our mission. The Trustees select those LOIs which are subsequently invited to submit a full proposal. The Large Grant Period runs from July 1 of a given year through June 30 of the following year. Funding is on a one-year basis; organizations may reapply annually, but funding is not guaranteed.Eligibility

An organization's overall support and inclusion of women and girls in leadership, on boards, and in key staff positions is considered.JWF-NJ funds both sectarian and non-sectarian organizations. An organization need not be Jewish to receive a grant. JWF-NJ may fund a project which absorbs costs/offers discounts for its neediest participants.Ineligibility
