Spring Grant Cycle - Large Grants

The Jewish Women’s Foundation of New Jersey (JWF) aims to uplift women and girls through collective grantmaking, enhancing community quality of life. The Spring Grant Cycle invites 501(c)3 organizations to submit Letters of Intent for funding programs aligned with JWF's mission. Focused on New Jersey counties, JWF prioritizes initiatives that address women's challenges and promote social change, rejecting grants for individuals or political purposes.

Spring Core Grant Cycle
JWF accepts Letters of Intent (LOIs) to support programs and services based in New Jersey and consistent with the JWF mission. The JWF Grants Committee selects those LOIs which are subsequently invited to submit a full proposal. Please note, JWFNJ primarily focuses its support in the following counties: Essex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren. Occasionally, we will consider requests outside these geographic areas.

Eligibility

Applicants must be 501(c)3 organizations or those with a fiscal agent with their own 501(c)3. Legal opinion letters of nonprofit status are not sufficient.

Ineligibility

No grants are awarded to individuals.
JWF does not fund political campaigns or organizations such as PACs, capital campaigns, or endowments.
JWF does not make loans or award scholarships/tuition reimbursements, nor do we provide sponsorships or buy tickets/tables for special events or international travel.
