About Us The Jewish Community Foundation makes grants to a wide variety of charitable organizations and causes, as recommended and designated by our donors. We fund academic scholarships and provide other forms of financial aid to individuals and families in need. We respond to emergencies that affect the Jewish community here in New Jersey, nationally, and around the world. JCF grants also support new initiatives, innovative programs, and special community projects. The Jewish Community Foundation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ and serves as its planned giving and endowment arm. Israel Restricted Grants The Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ aims to honor legacy donors with Restricted Endowment Funds. One-year grants will be selected that will support programs or initiatives that target one of the following purposes and up to the amount listed: Israeli Individuals living with developmental disabilities (Up to $10,900)Israeli engagement in cultural activities in Ofakim and Merchavim (Up to $9,600)Resettlement assistance for Olim (Up to $2,800)To provide scholarships for Ethiopian Jews in Israel (Up to $3,300) Please note that there is one grant available per category. Greater MetroWest NJ has partnership communities in Israel, including Ofakim, Merchavim, Arad, Kibbutz Erez, Rishon Le-Zion, and Hurfeish. While all communities in Israel are encouraged to apply for these grant opportunities, we would like to note that we have a preference for funding our partnership communities.Eligibility
