The Foundation for Enhancing Communities The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) is a community foundation serving South Central Pennsylvania with a mission to inspire giving, partner with donors to achieve their charitable goals, and strengthen local communities for current and future generations. Guided by core values of inclusion, stewardship, endurance, and integrity, TFEC invests in a broad range of community needs through grantmaking, donor-advised funds, nonprofit services, and regional initiatives. Its funding priorities include early childhood education, women and girls’ well-being, arts and culture, community development, health and human services, and other programs that advance equity and long-term community impact. Judith A. Ingram Memorial Scholarship Fund Judith Anne Ingram spent a long career in elementary education, first in Virginia, then in the Titusville (PA) School District and for many years in the Mechanicsburg Area School District. She served as principal at several schools in the MASD, with her longest tenure at Northside Elementary School. She received a Bachelor’s Degree with honors from Slippery Rock University, and Master’s Degrees from the University of Virginia and Slippery Rock. During her life, Judy was passionate about elementary education. She mentored several students seeking careers in elementary education. She received several prominent awards from her peers. She passed away in 2014. This award seeks to honor and keep alive Judy’s legacy in the field of elementary education. This scholarship is a fund of the Mechanicsburg Area Community Foundation, a regional foundation of TFEC.Eligibility
