Joseph M. Bryan Human Services Grant (Bryan)

Overview: The Joseph M. Bryan Foundation established the grant program in 1996 to recognize Bryan's lifelong commitment to the welfare of the Greensboro community.

Geographic Scope: Greater Greensboro, NC

Focus Areas:

  • Education and success of children and youth

  • Financial stability and independence of families and individuals

  • Healthy lives for all in the community
  • Award Amount: Up to $30,000 per grant; awards available for up to three years

  • Programs in need of strengthening the service offered and the outcomes achieved

    Application Process

    Step 1: Review full LOI requirements and funding objectives at uw.forcefieldnc.com/nonprofits/grants/bryanCEVG.php

    Step 2: Submit Letter of Interest (LOI) to United Way office (1500 Yanceyville St., Greensboro) by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014. (Postmarks not accepted.)

    Step 3: If selected from LOI phase, complete full RFP application during open RFP process (typically April)

    Step 4: Community volunteers evaluate and review applications

    Step 5: Investment recommendation for approval by United Way of Greater Greensboro Board of Directors
