Joseph L. Runde Memorial Scholarship Grant

The Joseph L. Runde Memorial Scholarship, managed by The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, supports deserving female seniors from various high schools, including Hazel Green and Belmont, who aspire to pursue degrees in healthcare sciences. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. This scholarship exemplifies the foundation's commitment to enhancing education and fostering personal philanthropy in the Southern Wisconsin community.

The Community Foundation is a repository for more than 900 charitable funds worth more than $90 million. We service these funds by managing the investment, encouraging and supporting additions, overseeing the disbursement of grants and scholarships, and managing the requisite government paperwork.
The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin serves communities in nine Southern Wisconsin counties: Crawford, Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Rock, Sauk, Vernon, and Walworth.
Available to students from: Belmont High School, Benton High School, Cuba City High School, Platteville High School, Potosi High School, Shullsburg High School, Southwestern High School.

Eligibility

Established to assist worthy graduating female seniors from Hazel Green, Belmont, Benton, Cuba City, Platteville, Potosi, or Shullsburg High Schools who intend to pursue a degree (university, college or technical school) in the field of healthcare sciences. The applicant must have achieved a high school cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
