John & Becky Wegmueller “Abenteuer” Scholarship Grant

The John & Becky Wegmueller 'Abenteuer' Scholarship, offered by The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, supports students from specific high schools pursuing post-secondary education. Eligible candidates must rank in the top 10% of their class or possess a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Preference is given to those involved in extracurricular activities and financial need. This scholarship aims to enhance educational opportunities for aspiring students in Southern Wisconsin.

The Community Foundation is a repository for more than 700 charitable funds worth more than $50 million. We service these funds by managing the investment, encouraging and supporting additions, overseeing the disbursement of grants and scholarships, and managing the requisite government paperwork.
The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin serves communities in nine Southern Wisconsin counties: Crawford, Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Rock, Sauk, Vernon, and Walworth.
Available to students from: Albany High School, Brodhead High School, Juda High School, Monroe High School, Monticello High School, New Glarus High School

Eligibility

For students pursuing a post-secondary education at an accredited college, university or technical school. Should be in the top 10% of class ranking or have a GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Preference may be given for involvement in sports, school activities, church and community. Preference may be given for financial need.
