Scholarships Grand Haven Area Community Foundation scholarships are awarded competitively based on criteria set by donors. The Community Foundation has a rigorous internal selection process for each scholarship decision, and each applicant is reviewed in depth, and considered thoroughly. Our scholarship program is simple. You are able to apply once for all foundation scholarships you may be eligible for. Once your application is submitted, you will be eligible for all those for which you meet the requirement. John L. and Victory E. Frantz Scholarship Fund Education has always been an important part of the lives of John and Vicky Frantz. Vicky was a school teacher for 30 years, focusing on the elementary grades. Both were involved deeply in our community and loved the continuous pursuit of learning. When John died in 2002, Vicky set up this as a way to highlight their belief that students are our future and need to be supported. Vicky, who passed in 2014, and John will live on through this fund.Eligibility
