The purpose of the scholarship is to support post-secondary educational scholarships for members of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church (9000 St. Martin’s Lane, Richmond, VA 23294) planning to attend an accredited two- or four-year community college, college or university, or a technical or vocational school in the United States.

Eligibility

Eligible student must be a candidate for high school graduation at the end of the current academic year, a recent high school graduate, or an adult learner planning to enroll in an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, community college, university, technical or vocational school in the United States the following academic year. Eligible student must demonstrate active involvement in the church, financial need, commitment to serving his or her community, and solid academic work. Students who have received the John C. Wallace Scholarship in the past are eligible to reapply for support and will be considered in competition with all other qualified candidates, with a preference for those applicants who have not received the scholarship to date.
