Anne Anton Koval Scholarship The Anne Anton Koval Memorial Scholarship was established in 2005 by her family to memorialize Mrs. Koval. The purpose of the scholarship is to support adult learners in Central Virginia who are pursuing a career in health care and are in need of financial support. For the purposes of this scholarship, adult learners are defined as individuals who have completed high school but did not immediately pursue post-secondary education, or individuals who completed high school and earned a post-secondary degree, but have opted to return to school to pursue an alternative course of study. Eligible applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

Eligible applicant must be pursuing a post-secondary degree in a health care field. For this scholarship, applicants must be seeking a field that will allow them to work directly with patients.Eligible applicant must demonstrate financial need, a commitment to academic achievement, and a commitment to serving his or her community.Eligible applicant must plan to enroll in or be currently enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university, or technical school in the continental United States.Students who have received the Anne Anton Koval Scholarship in the past are eligible to reapply for support and will be considered in competition with all other qualified candidates.
