McClure Scholarship Fund was established at the Community Foundation in 2022 by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. to support post-secondary educational scholarships for qualifying student attending an accredited two or four-year community college, college or university in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Eligibility

Eligible student must be a candidate for high school graduation from a public or private school in the Commonwealth of Virginia at the end of the current academic year; or be a recent high school graduate (under the age of 21) or an adult learner (21 years old or older) residing in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Eligible student must plan to enroll full-time at an accredited two- or four-year community college, college or university in the Commonwealth of Virginia the following academic year.Eligible student must demonstrate academic achievement, a commitment to serving community, and financial need.Eligible student must have a GPA of over 3.0.Eligible student must demonstrate the desire to pursue the field of teaching, economics, or finance.
