Overview

A $500-$1,000 scholarship awarded to cowboys who place in both rough stock and timed events during the CNFR, honoring Jerry Beagley's dual-event competition background.

Award Criteria: Given to the cowboy who:

Competed in both rough stock events (bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding)
AND timed events (calf roping, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, goat tying, team roping)

Background: Jerry Beagley competed in both rough stock and timed events when he attended college in the 1970s. He wanted to create a scholarship to recognize and support athletes with this dual capability.
