JCE Adult Scholarship

Geographic Scope: One scholarship awarded in each of Jo Daviess, Carroll, Whiteside, and Henry counties, Illinois

Focus Areas: Post-secondary education leading to first degree, certification, or licensure

Eligibility:

• Current Jo-Carroll Energy cooperative member in good standing
• Must have own name on an active cooperative account
• Must be accepted to an accredited post-secondary school or program
• Program must lead to first degree, certification, or licensure

Selection Criteria:

• Letters of reference
• Statement about academic pursuits including educational and career goals
• Explanation of how the scholarship will help achieve those goals

Application Process

1. Verify current cooperative membership in good standing with own name on active account
2. Complete scholarship application form
3. Provide proof of acceptance to accredited post-secondary school or program
4. Submit letters of reference
5. Write statement about academic pursuits including:
   • Educational goals
   • Career goals
   • How the scholarship will help achieve those goals
