International Peace Scholarship (IPS) Fund
Status: Active
Geographic Scope: For international women students from outside U.S. and Canada to study in U.S. or Canada; also available for international students at Cottey College
Focus Areas: Graduate study programs in any field at accredited colleges or universities
Program Description: Provides scholarships for international women students to pursue graduate study in the U.S. or Canada. Scholarship based upon demonstrated need; however, award not intended to cover all academic or personal expenses. At application time, applicant required to indicate additional financial resources adequate to meet estimated expenses.

Eligibility Requirements
- Citizenship: Woman outside the United States and Canada
- Degree Level: Seeking advanced degree from accredited college or university in U.S. or Canada
- Return Commitment: Will return to home country to utilize education to make positive impact and foster global peace
- Enrollment: Full year of formal coursework remaining AND enrolled and in residence in U.S. or Canada for entire school year; OR international student attending Cottey College
- Not Eligible: Doctoral students who have completed coursework and are working only on dissertations (as first-time applicants); citizens or permanent residents of U.S. or Canada; students with residency for tax purposes only are permitted
