Overview

About Us We’re about connecting people with the needs of the community. We do this by connecting individual gifts to nonprofits through grants. Our knowledge about important issues facing the Fox Valley Region is based on strong relationships with nonprofits and our unwavering pursuit of understanding our community needs. Individual gifts, when joined with others given through the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, ensure the impact lasts forever so that our community will always flourish. We are a tax-exempt, publicly supported nonprofit organization managing charitable funds — mostly permanent endowments — created by many families, businesses and organizations. These funds generate grants for the long-term benefit of the people of the Fox Valley region of Wisconsin. International Association of Structural Movers Scholarship (IASM) IASM began as a “not for profit” trade association in 1983 when a collection of individuals engaged in the business of moving structures believed the time was right to form an organization to represent their industry. In the overall business scheme of life, the structural moving industry (SMI) is not equal to other major industries. Nevertheless, the SMI has an important role to play in the lives of thousands and thousands of individuals, companies, governments and society. Over two decades later IASM is composed of more than three hundred eighty-five (385) members in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Greece, New Zealand, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, and United States. This scholarship was established to benefit the children of IASM member companies or member company employees. Award Amount: Three $1,500 non-renewable scholarship awards for tuition expenses for the first fall semester of college.
