A major philanthropic endeavor and regranting vehicle to ensure Indigenous-led frontline organizations are prioritized in federal investments such as the Inflation Reduction Act. The fund aims to disperse flexible dollars to Indigenous communities and tribes working on climate solutions.

• Regranting to Indigenous frontline organizations

Geographic Scope: Turtle Island (North America)

Funding Goal:

• Target: $100 million to Indigenous frontline organizations
• Currently fundraising and seeking seed money

Context:

• Launched September 21, 2023 during Climate Week
• Response to over $1.7 trillion in federal investments through Inflation Reduction Act and infrastructure bill
• Approximately 70% of NDN Collective's 700+ grantees already working on climate change through Indigenous-led solutions
