Background The Hyde and Watson Foundation was incorporated on January 14, 1983, through the consolidation of The Lillia Babbitt Hyde Foundation and The John Jay and Eliza Jane Watson Foundation. The Foundation currently supports CAPITAL projects such as hard costs related to the construction or purchase of new facilities, building renovations and improvements, purchase of capital equipment and furnishings, and other one-time capital needs. Ineligibility

Grants will not be made for leases or rentals of equipment, for subscription-based software, or any other recurring fees.Grants are not made to individuals, or for projects outside the United States of America.The Foundation does not approve more than one grant to an organization in a calendar year. If grants are approved to an organization for several consecutive years, we may decide to take a skip year for funding.The Foundation does not make grants for operating support, endowment, special events, sponsorships, annual fundraising campaigns, or through fiscal sponsors or agents.
