Overview

Thanks to a grant from the Schumann Fund for New Jersey, Field Trip New Jersey funding is available to all Essex County schools and other nonprofit organizations serving Essex County that are current grantees of the Schumann Fund. Eligible applicants are Essex County public, charter, and nonprofit private pre-K-12 schools with more than 65 percent of students eligible for free or reduced-price lunches, plus Schumann Fund grantee nonprofits serving Essex County. 'Applicants may apply for grants of up to $1,500 per academic year to cover costs for field trips.' Grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Awards are paid as reimbursement against submitted invoices.

How to Apply

Apply by filling out the 'Schumann Fund - Field Trip NJ Application for SCHOOLS Serving Essex County Youth 2026-2027' form in the online portal. Grants are reimbursements: submit final field trip invoices to info@fieldtripnj.org no later than 30 days after the trip or the award may be forfeited. Rolling basis.
