Since its inception in 1951, the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta has focused on improving the lives of people throughout our region by giving to programs that help our communities thrive. Today, the Community Foundation exists to inspire and lead our region toward equity and shared prosperity for all. We work with — and for — all our neighbors across the community, making our region more equitable and prosperous for everyone who calls this great city home. Thanks to the communication and collaboration between donors, community stakeholders, civic leaders, nonprofits and others working together, we solve Atlanta’s challenges by activating social, moral, relational and financial capital. With our partners — community stakeholders, donors and nonprofits, we create solutions that help Atlanta thrive. Housing In 2022, the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta launched TogetherATL, a five-year strategic plan identifying four priority systems of focus, along with three priority neighborhoods. One of the systems highlighted is Housing and Neighborhoods. We believe that safe, stable and affordable homes are central to building stronger communities, and that an investment in affordable housing means better health, education and economic opportunities for Atlantans. Housing Stability Grant The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta is offering grants focused on Housing Stability for 2025, with particular emphasis on eviction prevention and services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Funding requests may include up to 30% of the applicant organization’s most recent annual expenses and should fall between $20,000–$50,000.
