Hew-Shinn Scholarship Fund This scholarship was established to honor A.K. Hew's parents, Hew Sing Cha and Shinn Ngun Moi. They raised eight children in Paia and Mr. & Mrs. Hew emphasized the importance of education for both their sons and daughters which was unusual among Chinese of their generation.
