Overview
The Dallas Foundation
The Dallas Foundation has long been a trusted community partner and responsible steward of our donors’ generous contributions. We have established a proven track record of investing in transformational solutions. Since the turn of the 21st century, The Dallas Foundation has cumulatively awarded more than $1 billion in grants. Concern for the community, respect for donors, thoughtful giving and careful investing – these core values have guided The Dallas Foundation since 1929. We’ve grown and changed just as Dallas has. But we remain, as always, here for good.
Here for Good
The Dallas Foundation awards grants through several key channels, including donor-advised endowed funds tailored to support specific causes, our Community Impact Fund, and a select number of Field of Interest Funds that align with our strategic priorities. These funds, entrusted to the Foundation, enable us to make grants that honor donor intent while creating meaningful impact across our community.
Summer Grant Cycle
The Dallas Foundation’s Summer 2025 Grant Cycle focuses on strengthening the well-being of our community by investing in programs that prioritize children and families—particularly those who are most vulnerable. We believe a healthy community begins by supporting its most fragile members. This grant cycle is made possible by endowed funds established by donors who have entrusted The Dallas Foundation to steward their charitable giving for generations to come.
