Selection based upon: Financial need; academic ability; community, religious, and school service; recommendations. Awards One $2,500 to a Sidney Electric Co. employee’s child and one $2,500 scholarship to an Area Energy & Electric employee’s child

Eligibility

A parent must be employed by either Sidney Electric Co. or Area Energy & Electric for a minimum of two years prior to January 1, 2025.Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0. This requirement will not apply if the applicant has not attended high school or a post-secondary college within the last two years.
