Overview: Child development programs in collaboration with community service agencies providing expectant parents and families with children ages birth through five comprehensive support services to promote school readiness, positive parent-child interactions, self-sufficiency, and healthy lifestyles.

Geographic Scope: Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, and Richland counties

Services Include:

Head Start Eligibility

• Families living in Grant, Iowa, Lafayette and Richland Counties
• Meeting federal poverty income levels of 100% or below
• Some waivers of income requirements may be granted on a limited basis
• Children must be 3 years old by September 1 of the current year
• Program actively recruits families with special needs and disabilities

Early Head Start Eligibility

• Families living in Grant, Iowa, Lafayette and Richland counties
• Meeting federal poverty income levels of 100% or below
• Some waivers of income requirements may be granted on a limited basis
• Families must be expecting or have a child between 0-3 years of age
• Program actively recruits families with special needs and disabilities
