Scholarships Grand Haven Area Community Foundation scholarships are awarded competitively based on criteria set by donors. Our scholarship program is simple. You are able to apply once for all foundation scholarships you may be eligible for. Once your application is submitted, you will be eligible for all those for which you meet the requirement. H. Wayne VanAgtmael Cosmetology Scholarship Fund Established in 2005 by Wayne Van Agtmael's family to honor his memory and talents. He was a local businessman who was the owner and founder of Wayne & Company. Wayne enjoyed teaching his craft to students who were often the first in their family to succeed beyond high school. This scholarship supports students attending Cosmetology School and will help to continue Wayne's legacy.

Interest Area: Cosmetology Financial Need: ConsiderationHigh School Senior Only: YesCriteria/Description: Awarded to a high school graduate and resident of the Tri-Cities pursuing a degree in Cosmetology.Awards will be granted for studies in public or private certified cosmetology programs, such as Aveda Institute, CHIC University of Cosmetology, French Academy of Cosmetology, or Booker Institute of Cosmetology.In addition to the application, you’ll have to submit the following documents:A copy of your high school or college transcriptAny additional required documents for specific scholarships (like recommendation letters).Page 1 of the Student Aid Report with your Student Aid Index (SAI) included on the form.
