GSBA Days of Giving

Overview: GSBA Days of Giving is a statewide volunteer service initiative created to celebrate the Association's 75th Anniversary. Through this program, GSBA staff partners directly with selected member school districts to complete one-day volunteer projects that provide visible and practical support to local school systems.

Geographic Scope: Georgia school districts (GSBA members)

Focus Areas:

  • Facilities beautification

  • Safety and preparedness support

  • Staff morale enhancements

  • Organizational assistance

  • Improvements to family and community engagement spaces

  • Community-strengthening projects
  • Eligibility:

  • GSBA member school districts

  • District must identify a clearly defined project that can be completed in a single service day

  • Project must be coordinated with district leadership and facilities staff
  • Program Details:

  • Launched: February 2026

  • Four service days planned during 2026 program year

  • GSBA staff volunteer directly in districts
