Overview: The GSBA Beacon Award recognizes outstanding reporting on public education by individuals, media representatives, or organizations whose coverage enhances public understanding of educational issues, programs, policies, and initiatives impacting Georgia's public schools, students, and communities.

Geographic Scope: Georgia (media outlets and journalists covering Georgia public education)
