Grove Family Fund #1 Grant

The Grove Family Fund #1, managed by The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, is dedicated to supporting local high school students from specific schools in Central Dauphin County. This fund enables juniors and seniors to take college-level courses at HACC while still in high school, enhancing their educational opportunities. With a strong emphasis on community development and education, the fund aims to empower students and promote academic success for future generations.

The Foundation for Enhancing Communities
The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) is a community foundation serving South Central Pennsylvania with a mission to inspire giving, partner with donors to achieve their charitable goals, and strengthen local communities for current and future generations. Guided by core values of inclusion, stewardship, endurance, and integrity, TFEC invests in a broad range of community needs through grantmaking, donor-advised funds, nonprofit services, and regional initiatives. Its funding priorities include early childhood education, women and girls’ well-being, arts and culture, community development, health and human services, and other programs that advance equity and long-term community impact.
The Grove Family Scholarship Fund supports students who wish to attend HACC to take college-level courses while still in high school or are attending college in the classroom at their high school.

Eligibility

Junior or senior student from Central Dauphin, Central Dauphin East, Dauphin County Technical School, Harrisburg-John Harris High School, Sci-Tech High School, Steelton-Highspire High School.Plans to attend HACC to take academic or college-prep courses while still in high school
