Overview: The SUNY Orange Foundation offers Grant-in-Aid Financial Assistance to students who need help with tuition, books, or child care costs, are ineligible for Federal or State Aid, and have demonstrated financial need.

Geographic Scope: SUNY Orange students

Eligibility:

  • Continuing full-time or part-time students

  • Must have applied for Federal and/or State Financial Aid

  • Must have been determined ineligible based upon Federal and/or State criteria

  • Must have demonstrated financial need

  • Currently enrolled students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • What They Fund:

  • Tuition

  • Books

  • Child care costs
  • Award Amount:

  • Based on individual circumstances

  • Cannot exceed $1,000 in any academic year
