Overview

About Us The mission of SUNY Orange Foundation & Alumni Engagement is to raise and distribute funds, build a strong alumni network, and foster lasting ties to our community in order to expand opportunities and support the success of SUNY Orange students. The SUNY Orange Foundation is a key partner with SUNY Orange. We are committed to working together to generate funds and build resources to enhance lifelong learning and engagement opportunities for SUNY Orange students, alumni, and the community at large. We are empowering dreams together. As public funding continues to dwindle, the Foundation's efforts are critical to ensure that our students receive the best education possible. Private support, partnerships, and collaborations are essential to the College's growth, its students, and our community. The Foundation is a private 501(c)3 organization and thoughtfully and ethically stewards all gifts to provide the maximum benefit to SUNY Orange students. In addition to serving as the resource development arm of the College, in 2017, the organization also formally assumed responsibility for alumni relations. A consistent fundraising leader among community college foundations in New York State, the SUNY Orange Foundation focuses on helping ensure a quality college education remains affordable and accessible to all students. Grant-in-Aid The SUNY Orange Foundation offers Grant-in-Aid Financial Assistance to students who need help with tuition, books or child care costs, are ineligible for Federal or State Aid and have demonstrated financial need. The awarded amount is based on individual circumstances, but cannot exceed $1,000 in any academic year.
