Golden Foundation Residency Grant

The Golden Foundation Residency, offered by the Sam and Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts, aims to support professional artists over 25 who work with paint. This program encourages exploration of innovative materials and technologies, providing a platform for artists to expand their creative expression. With six four-week sessions available this year, each accommodating up to three artists, the residency focuses on new methods in art-making, introducing residents to advanced techniques and resources.

Sam and Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts
The Sam and Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts was conceived as a way to thank the community of artists for their support, encouragement and friendship. For the Golden family and friends, the Golden Foundation is also a means of celebrating the legacy of Sam and Adele. The Sam & Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts, Inc. is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization.
The Golden Foundation Residency Program is specifically designed to assist the professional artist in discovering and exploring a wide array of materials and technologies available today.
Residents will discover processes that will challenge the way they think about art materials. They will be introduced to resources that will open up advanced methods and new channels for expression in the creative process.
The Golden Foundation will be offering six Exploratory Residency sessions this year. Each session will last four weeks, with up to three artists per session.

Eligibility

The residency is restricted to professional artists, 25 years of age or older, working in paint.

Ineligibility

The Golden Foundation Residency does not accept applications from commercial artists (commissions or projects ordered by others).
The Golden Foundation Residency does not fund food expenses.
