Application Process

Submission Requirements:

1. Complete application form
2. Required attachments:
   • Application format (2019)
   • Budget template (2019 summary)
3. Submit to RI Secretariat

Review Process:

1. Secretary General acknowledges receipt of application
2. Compliance check ensures all required information is provided:
   • Project goals and objectives
   • Problems to be addressed
   • Activities to be carried out
   • Identification of possible matching funds for sustainability
   • Consultation with donor on appropriateness of amount requested
   • Letter from RI member confirming relationship
3. Additional documentation may be requested
4. Secretary General forwards applications to Management Committee
5. Management Committee conducts multi-stage review involving multiple stakeholders
6. Management Committee's decision is final
7. Secretary General informs all applicants of decision
